About the Role
As an Auto HV Mechanic, you will safely execute scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of ancillary and mobile mining equipment. You’ll bring strong diagnostic capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair equipment in line with OEM specifications and Fortescue procedures.
- Identify and request required consumables to support uninterrupted fleet operation.
- Participate in toolbox and safety meetings, supporting continuous improvement.
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to company standards.
- Ensure accurate SAP entries including notifications, work orders, and time confirmations.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives that enhance fleet performance.
- Roster: 7D/7N/14R
- FIFO: Ex Perth or Busselton
- Trade Certificate – Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Experience working on Dozers, Loaders, Graders, and mobile plant
- Current C-Class license (HR preferred)
- Strong safety focus and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite
