As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.
Key Duties
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on large-scale mining equipment following OEM specifications and internal protocols.
- Accurately record work activities in SAP, including job notifications, work orders, and time entries.
- Monitor inventory and request necessary parts and supplies to support continuous fleet operations.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts aimed at enhancing equipment performance.
- Participate in safety briefings and toolbox meetings to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.

About you:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Previous experience working on large scale Mobile Mining Equipment, ideally in a mining environment
- High level of safety awareness and orientation
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling
- Experience using Microsoft programs and computer-based maintenance systems (SAP desirable)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
