Key responsibilities:
- Installing ceiling grid systems & fire‑rated ceilings/walls
- Flushing and finishing plasterboard surfaces to a high standard
- Operating EWP and forklift when required (tickets preferred)
- Working from construction drawings and specifications
- Supporting general carpentry tasks on site
- Maintaining tools & equipment
- Provide additional labour / assistance to current TAs and Carpenters onsite
- This role requires a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions closely to assist with carpentry works efficiently and safely.
Mandatory:
- Strong background in commercial construction
- Ceiling grid, fire‑rated walls & flushing experience
- White Card, Forklift License
- Ability to safely use power and hand tools
- Working at Heights
- EWP license
- Additional tickets encouraged
- ORD: $45/hr+ penalties
- LAHA: $150/day
- Roster: 2:1 Roster, 12hr/day, initially 2- 3 swings with potential for more
- FIFO from Geraldton or Jandakot (flights included)
- Accommodation & meals provided
