The Role
Working alongside a skilled construction team, you will be involved in a wide range of commercial and industrial carpentry activities including:
- Constructing and installing concrete formwork
- Assisting with concrete pours and finishing works
- Commercial steel installation
- Building and fitting out transportable buildings
- Installation of site-specific structures
- General carpentry and maintenance works
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
- Working safely and collaboratively within a project environment
- 14 Days On, 7 Days Off roster
- 12-hour workdays
- Accommodation provided
- Meal allowance of $80 per day
- Full-time and casual opportunities available
- Competitive $50-60/hour FT rate, with an uplift for casual contractors
- Approximately 4 months of current project work with future project opportunities available
- Trade Qualified Carpenter (overseas qualifications are considered)
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong safety focus and commitment to HSEQ standards
- Construction, civil, commercial or industrial carpentry experience preferred
- Excavator
- Forklift
- EWP
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- Dogging
- Rigging
- MR or HR Licence
