Civil Operator
needed to join our client's team on civil and infrastructure projects across Perth Metro Area. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on manual labour around utilities
, including trenching, pit installations, conduit handling, and reinstatement works.
Majority of the job will involve physical labouring
, with machine operation opportunities to come along after.
We're looking for someone with stamina, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual trenching, digging, and backfilling around live and new utilities (water, power, comms, gas)
- Installation of pits, pipes, conduits, and other underground services
- Site clean-up, traffic control assistance, and spotting duties
- Operating civil machinery as required (excavator, roller, etc.)
- Assisting other team members and trades on-site
- Complying with all safety procedures and site requirements
- HR Driver's License (Mandatory) - must be current and valid
- Excavator Ticket (Preferred) - practical experience operating is advantageous
- White Card - Construction Induction Safety Certificate
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Physically fit and capable of labour-intensive work in all weather conditions
- Experience working around around live and underground services
- Able to follow directions, work well in a team, and communicate effectively on-site
- VOCs for other plant machinery (e.g., skid steer, roller, etc.)
