We are seeking an experienced Collaboration & Productivity Platforms Squad Lead to join a high-performing technology team responsible for the ongoing development, support, and optimisation of enterprise collaboration platforms.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining platform expertise with leadership responsibilities. You will oversee a small team of specialists responsible for Microsoft 365, Atlassian and related collaboration platforms, while helping drive platform maturity, service improvement, automation initiatives, and adoption of emerging technologies.
The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, manage vendor relationships, lead key initiatives, and act as an escalation point for complex platform issues.

- Lead and mentor a team of platform specialists supporting collaboration and productivity technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across Microsoft 365 and related platforms.
- Drive platform strategy, governance, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Lead delivery of platform enhancement projects and larger technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and improve user experience.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service partners.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation, efficiency, and platform reliability.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and modern workplace technologies.
- Contribute to operational maturity, service excellence, and long-term platform roadmap planning.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in delivery.
- Experience managing stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional relationships.
- Strong understanding of enterprise collaboration, workplace productivity, and platform support functions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience driving automation and service improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies and workplace innovation programs.
- Experience within large enterprise environments.
- Background in mining, resources, industrial, or asset-intensive industries.
