We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Supervisor to lead teams of painters and boilermakers in delivering safe, high‑quality structural remediation activities across Hedland Operations. This pivotal role ensures the integrity of critical assets while supporting both online maintenance and major shutdown execution.

About the Role As the Supervisor, you will oversee daily field operations, contractor performance, work quality, and planning integration. You’ll work closely with maintenance, engineering, planning and shutdown stakeholders to ensure remediation activities are prioritised, executed safely, and aligned with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities Structural Risk & Work Prioritisation
  • Assess structural risk and prioritise remediation activities across weekly online maintenance and offline shutdown periods.
  • Review, scope and approve new defect notifications and associated work orders.
  • Establish and manage weekly work capacity in line with operational needs.
  • Review and approve draft and final weekly maintenance plans.
  • Manage and reduce work order backlog in line with operational targets.
  • Conduct daily workplace inspections of remediation job fronts and active scaffolding.
  • Manage onsite remediation contractors to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality execution.
  • Participate in contractor compliance and performance review meetings.
  • Compile and provide evidence of completed remediation works and close out relevant work orders and defects.
  • Maintain and update master data, inspection checklists, redlines and associated documentation.
  • Source, procure and track weekly remediation materials and long‑lead project items.
  • Attend contractor coordination, planning and shutdown execution meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with shutdown teams to coordinate blast and paint 
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity and work quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering department performance KPIs.
