About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to support a focused working group dedicated to improving water management processes, systems, and operational routines. Reporting to the Coordinator leading the initiative, you will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights and dashboard solutions that support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Create dashboards, reporting, and performance visibility across water management operations
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations, Hydrogeology, Planning, and Maintenance teams
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support decision-making
- Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable reporting insights
- Support the working group in implementing data-driven process improvements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to reporting tools
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a project or operational environment
- Strong Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation skills
- Experience driving operational improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyse data and deliver performance improvement outcomes
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SCADA, and SAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
Preferred
- Experience within mining, resources, or heavy industry environments
• Understanding of mining, dewatering, and environmental processes
• Experience in water management or operational improvement projects
• Previous FIFO/site-based experience
