We’re seeking a talented and driven Electrical Designers to join our clients . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, compliant, and innovative electrical design solutions across the full project lifecycle—from concept to commissioning.
You’ll play a key role in technical development, project support, and design optimisation, while ensuring all documentation, specifications, and engineering outputs meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review technical documentation, including functional design specifications
- Oversee electrical design and support change management and functionality development
- Execute engineering duties across the full project lifecycle: concept, studies, design, testing, and commissioning
- Prepare equipment specifications, schematic and wiring designs
- Conduct design reviews and drawing mark-ups
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Participate in Safety in Design, HAZOP, CHAZOP, HAZID, CRAW, and client design reviews
- Collaborate with commissioning teams to develop ITRs, ITPs, FAT & SAT documentation
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience in industrial electrical design and project delivery
- Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, estimating, and cost control
- Deep understanding of engineering principles and design processes
- Experience with power generation and/or renewable equipment selection and design
- Ability to manage technical inputs and engineering risks across multidisciplinary teams
