Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Electrical Engineer with strong experience in electrical reporting and analysis, particularly in Arc Flash Studies, Earthing System Design, and Power System Modelling.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance engineering environment and is passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and data-driven solutions across industrial and infrastructure projects.

You’ll be responsible for preparing technical reports, conducting system studies, and supporting design teams with electrical safety and compliance documentation. Your insights will directly influence operational safety, system reliability, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document Arc Flash Hazard Analysis in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., IEEE 1584, NFPA 70E)
  • Perform Earthing System Studies, including soil resistivity testing, grid design, and fault current analysis
  • Prepare detailed electrical reports, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and harmonic analysis
  • Support the development of electrical safety documentation, including Single Line Diagrams, Protection Schemes, and Risk Assessments
  • Collaborate with design and commissioning teams to ensure electrical systems meet performance and safety requirements
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to present findings and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
  • Participate in technical reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical safety and reporting
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience in electrical system studies and technical reporting
  • Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and safety codes
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
  • Experience in industrial, mining, utilities, or infrastructure sectors preferred
