This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong project delivery background to join a high-performing team, working on a variety of electrical projects within a large-scale mining environment.
The Role Reporting into the Projects team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering electrical projects from planning through to commissioning while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Review and manage electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, site requirements and safety procedures.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, engineering and contractor stakeholders.
- Support commissioning activities and project handovers.
- Drive continuous improvement and project delivery excellence.
- Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer.
- Previous experience delivering mining, resources, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, substations, switchgear and power distribution networks.
- Demonstrated contractor and stakeholder management experience.
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment.
- FIFO project experience highly regarded.
- 2:1 FIFO roster
- 12-month initial contract
- Up to $95 per hour + Super(dependent on experience)
