The Environmental Advisor will provide essential support to the Environment, Nature, and Science team. This role involves delivering assessments on flora and vegetation, terrestrial fauna, SRE, Subfauna, inland waters, visual impact, noise, and dust. Key responsibilities include preparing environmental scopes, coordinating surveys, reviewing technical reports and datasets, and preparing approval and compliance documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the resource sector
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of the Pilbara environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
- Experience with GIS software
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Management, or Engineering
