We are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join one of our leading mining clients on a 2:2 FIFO roster . This role offers long‑term stability, strong team culture, and the chance to work across large‑scale processing infrastructure.

About the Site

The site operates two major processing facilities:
  • Dual‑Fed Ore Processing Plant - fed by the primary crusher and Hall Hub crusher via a 14 km overland conveyor; includes primary, secondary & tertiary crushers, screens, conveyors, and desanding/scrubbing circuits.
  • WHIMS Plant - Wet High‑Intensity Magnetic Separation circuit extracting additional iron from slurry, supported by slurry pumps, wet screens, WHIMS magnetic separators, and thickeners.
  • Crushing Hubs - including a remote crushing hub and fixed‑plant buildings equipped with Alimak lift systems.
About the Role
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on wet and dry plant equipment (crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, mills, thickeners, gearboxes).
  • Complete inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively to support plant availability and minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all isolation and safety procedures.
About You
  • Trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III).
  • Experience across wet and dry processing circuits.
  • Previous FIFO experience (2:2 preferred).
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and a commitment to safety and high‑quality work.
