This is a key coordination role responsible for keeping fleet operations organised, compliant, and running efficiently, while ensuring assets are well maintained, properly documented, and optimised for performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating fleet operations, tracking maintenance activities, and ensuring that assets, documentation, and compliance requirements are aligned across the business.
Working closely with operations, maintenance teams, and finance, you will play a hands-on role in supporting asset performance, reliability, and efficient day-to-day fleet management.

- Exposure to renewable energy and power generation projects
- Responsible for coordinating all fleet-related tasks, including booking vehicles to sites, monitoring asset registration, organising maintenance and servicing, and identifying fleet requirements and utilisation.
- Manage and maintain a register of all motor vehicles and mobile equipment to ensure that all related documents are accurately recorded and appropriately filed, maintaining a high standard of record-keeping.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for the fleet to optimise asset life, reduce downtime, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of all assets to uphold fleet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Provide relevant information regarding the addition or removal of facilities and equipment, including managing accident claims through to finalisation for insurance purposes.
- Maintain accurate equipment history, asset registers, and performance records in the CMMS.
- Currently utilising a very basic system (Daily Ops), which requires data cleansing due to significant inaccuracies, transitioning to SAP is planned for later in the year.
- Liaise with the Finance Department regarding insurance changes, including additions and deletions of vehicles, premises, and mobile equipment.
- Maintain a register of approved contractors for maintenance and repair services, ensuring a high standard of data recording.
- Knowledge of or experience in motor vehicle fleet and asset management concepts
- Demonstrated project coordination skills
- Proven ability to prioritise, monitor and coordinate workloads to achieve results and deliver planned outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong ability to achieve outcomes through others.
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
