DRD Group are seeking Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics to work for a highly respected family business to work in the Workshop based in Karratha WA.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Locally based or FIFO positions 2/2 or 2/1
  • Earn up to $70ph with salary sacrifice options (casual and full-time positions available)
  • The applicant will be based at our Karratha workshop but will be required to travel to various Pilbara mining and construction locations
  • The candidate will be required to service, repair and maintain a wide variety of road transport, construction, load handling and earthmoving equipment
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 
  • Qualified and experienced Mobile Plant/Road Transport Diesel mechanic
  • Copy of relevant trade certificate
  • Construction Card
  • 2 + years’ post trade essential
  • Must hold full Australian working rights
  • HR driver’s license essential
  • Sound electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and air brake system knowledge
  • Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and manage your own-jobs, especially when away on site, but also have the ability to work as part of a team Committed to a high standard of safety
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Applicants must be able to pass police clearance and pre-employment medical
