About the Role
An opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing organisation within the disability and community services sector. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring alignment with NDIS Practice Standards and employment legislation

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including advertising, screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintain staff compliance registers and track certifications, clearances, and mandatory training
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters including grievances, performance issues, and investigations
  • Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure all pre-employment checks are completed
  • Support performance review cycles and implement performance improvement plans
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy and reporting compliance
  • Support implementation of HR policies and ensure adherence to Fair Work, SCHADS Award, and NDIS standards
  • Assist with training coordination, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, SCHADS Award, and employment legislation
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information and competing priorities
  • Valid work rights in Australia and ability to obtain required compliance checks.
Preferred
  • Qualification in Human Resource Management or similar
  • Experience within NDIS, healthcare, or community services sectors
  • Experience using HR systems such as Employment Hero.
