Are you passionate about creating safe work environments and driving health and safety excellence? Join our dynamic Projects Division and play a key role in implementing and improving safety initiatives across major projects.

About the Role As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will:
  • Assist in implementing the Health and Safety Management System at site level.
  • Empower contractors to deliver a safe working environment.
  • Provide expert advice to achieve the objectives of the Projects Health and Safety strategic plan.
  • Lead innovation projects to support safety improvements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor health and safety initiatives across projects.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor leaders, team members, and contractors in compliance and risk management.
  • Support incident investigations and implement best-practice injury management principles.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years in construction, renewable energy, or mining projects.
  • Strong background in contractor and risk management.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 systems and WHS/Mine Safety legislation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to influence behaviours at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • Lead Investigator (ICAM) certification.
  • Internal Auditor (WHS Management Systems).
  • Cert IV TAA/TAE (desirable).
  • Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
  • ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training.
