About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and ongoing support of software systems across operational environments. Working closely with the Integration Technical Lead, you will play a key role in executing integration activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth delivery of software releases into production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute integration activities across SIL, HIL, and site-based environments
- Prepare integration builds including branching, configurations, dependencies, and test data
- Triage and debug issues, collect logs, and support issue resolution
- Develop and maintain smoke tests and lightweight test plans for recurring integrations
- Document integration steps, configurations, and outcomes to support verification processes
- Communicate integration progress, risks, and blockers to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with development, verification, and validation teams to reproduce and resolve issues
- Support integration automation and continuous improvement of testing processes
- Follow escalation processes and handover protocols as required
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in software engineering or integration roles
- Strong experience across software integration in SIL/HIL environments
- Proficiency in C++ and C#
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking tools
- Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience working in mining, resources, or industrial environments
- Exposure to automation, testing frameworks, or system integration tools
- Experience working in site-based roles or FIFO environments
