It is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who understands SAP maintenance data structures and can translate operational needs into scalable, production‑ready data products.
Strong SQL capability (Snowflake or SQL Server) and proven Power BI development experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain curated Snowflake SQL data models and reporting views for maintenance and asset performance analytics.
- Transform, structure and validate SAP PM/CMMS datasets (equipment, functional locations, work orders, maintenance plans, etc.) to support accurate maintenance strategy insights.
- Develop and improve Power BI datasets and reports to support performance monitoring and stakeholder decision‑making.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality through structured investigation, testing and proactive issue resolution.
- Maintain clear documentation, governance, and traceability across data models and reporting solutions.
- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake or SQL Server) with demonstrated experience in data modelling and transformation (essential).
- Experience building analytical datasets and reporting solutions (Power BI or similar).
- Proven exposure to SAP PM / CMMS backend data structures (highly desirable).
- Experience in mining, Fixed Plant or heavy equipment maintenance environments (advantageous).
- Python experience for data transformation or automation (desirable).
- Strong focus on data integrity, documentation, and governance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.
