About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to provide leadership across major project studies, feasibility activities, engineering integration, and delivery planning. Working closely with senior project stakeholders, you will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary project activities, supporting project decision-making, and driving successful project outcomes from early-stage development through to execution readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project engineering activities across feasibility, FEED, and project development phases
  • Act as deputy to the Delivery Manager for day-to-day project delivery matters
  • Coordinate engineering priorities and overall feasibility programme activities
  • Integrate study outcomes, ECI packages, cost plans, schedules, procurement inputs, and specialist studies
  • Lead preparation of project decision papers and assurance reviews
  • Support project readiness activities for investment decisions and delivery transitions
  • Coordinate key stakeholder engagement across engineering, procurement, project services, and delivery teams
  • Drive project governance, reporting, and multidisciplinary alignment activities
Mandatory Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on major projects
  • Strong experience across project studies, feasibility, FEED, and project development activities
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and project integration capability
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, procurement, and engineering interfaces
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within complex project environments
Preferred
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure, mining, energy, or industrial projects
  • Experience supporting investment decisions and project governance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of ECI, FEED, and project delivery models
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, and specialist project workstreams
