We’re working with a leading mining company to recruit a skilled LV Mechanic for their Exploration team. This role offers the chance to work on a varied fleet and make a vital contribution to maintaining safe, reliable operations.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics across a wide range of equipment including LV’s, HV’s, gensets, pumps, trailers, ATVs, and other mobile and stationary plant. Working in both workshop and field environments, you’ll ensure all tasks meet OEM standards and client requirements while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Proven post-trade experience servicing and repairing Toyota 79 Series Land Cruisers or comparable light vehicles.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with OEM and ADR regulations is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in remote environments
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Automotive (LV/HV) or equivalent trade qualification
  • DMIRS Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate (current or willingness to obtain)
  • Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
