This role translates maintenance strategies into practical, executable plans, supports adherence to approved schedules, and coordinates testing and laboratory activities.
Work closely with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Projects and Laboratory teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating purchase requistions for parts and services following procurement procedure
- Develop optimized maintenance plans and maintain master data in SAP
- Work with project teams to maintain live optimally integrated schedule for the life of the project based on the progress of activities
- Work with the project and execution teams to identify and mitigate risks to schedule adherence during the project.
- Attend meetings with project and execution teams to update schedules and resource planning.
- Development of high-quality maintenance and testing plans that are safe, practical and executable.
- Effective translation of maintenance strategies into work schedules and job plans
- Improved compliance to plan through readiness, coordination and schedule discipline.
- Delivery of robust testing strategies and laboratory test plans that support asset reliability and operational performance.
- Accurate and effective use of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 for schedule development, consolidation and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder confidence in the quality, accuracy and value of planning outputs.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and planning skills.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Excel, MS Project and related planning systems.
- Proficiency in SAP CMMS for planning, scheduling, and data management.
- Understanding of Asset Management ISO 55000
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification, or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, Asset Management, Project
- Controls or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Ability to develop accurate, practical and executable plans.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving capability with a continuous improvement focus.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
- Working knowledge of maintenance planning, work management, schedule logic and progress reporting.
- Experience in mining, heavy industry or similar environments, including compliance to plan and testing activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
- Self-motivated and able to coach and support others in work management processes
