This is a "hands-on" leadership role for a maritime professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

The Mission
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations for assigned vessel groups, ensuring all assets are maintained to the highest navigational and safety standards.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert for AMSA, OVID, CMID, and ISM audits. Ensure all vessel certification is current and strictly adheres to the Integrated Management System (IMS).

About you
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven Marine Operations experience with a deep understanding of the Australian offshore landscape.
  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive working knowledge of Statutory & Regulatory Authority requirements (AMSA, Flag State, etc.).
  • Leadership: A self-starter with the ability to influence offshore Masters and Crew while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Audit Savvy: Experience in successfully closing out OVID, CMID, and Port State inspections.
