Are you a logistics professional with a passion for coordinating complex construction projects? We’re seeking a Material Logistics Coordinator to join our clients Operational Projects Program, reporting directly to the Materials and Logistics Superintendent.
About the Role
This pivotal role ensures the seamless provision of logistics support across materials, personnel, and services for multiple operational projects. You’ll be the go-to expert for construction logistics, driving safe, efficient, and effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics activities across the Operational Projects Program.
- Provide specialist advice to optimise construction logistics processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align cost, schedule, and execution strategies.
- Manage priority freight scheduling and critical material delivery.
- Deliver ad-hoc business support and maintain constant communication on upcoming projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate materials and logistics updates for site operations.
- Proven experience in construction or project logistics coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced FIFO environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
