Mechanical Engineer
required to join our client's dynamic team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of domestic and international major projects.
You’ll be providing technical and design support across a wide range of infrastructure projects, with a focus on pipelines and materials handling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full lifecycle of study development, including engineering and conceptual design, both internally and with external consultants.
- Collaborate with engineering consultants on desktop studies, gap analyses, and mechanical design elements.
- Assist principal engineers with feasibility studies, data reviews, Basis of Design documents, study reports, and technical specifications.
- Evaluate mechanical solutions and contribute to project optioneering and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with local and international stakeholders across all technical aspects of projects.
- Manage contractors and sub-contractors, including tender preparation, adjudication, and execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement).
- 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical design across the full project lifecycle, ideally within consultancy or large infrastructure projects.
- Experience with pipeline or materials handling equipment design is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet-based calculations; familiarity with specialist design software is a plus.
- Experience with 3D design/viewing tools such as Navisworks is advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills, including technical documentation and study reports.
- Understanding of risk assessment and management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
