Mechanical Fitters required for a major campaign across a major  LNG + Domestic Gas facilities in WA’s Pilbara region, supporting an operating asset on  onshore processing.

This is a FIFO 2:1 roster with a July start (or earlier) through October , with numbers expected to ramp up in Sept/Oct

About the job:
You’ll be supporting campaign maintenance/brownfield execution work typical of operating LNG assets, which may include turnaround-style activities depending on the workpack schedule.

Pay/roster/dates:
  • $78.00/hr 
  • FIFO 2:1 
  • Start: 1 July (or earlier) → through October; ramp-up expected Sept/Oct
Note: Offshore allowances apply where offshore scope is required/rostered. 

Key duties & responsibilities:
    • Execute mechanical maintenance and installation works across an operating LNG and gas processing facility.
    • Perform flange management activities (Level 1–3) including bolt-up, gasket selection, tensioning/torquing, leak prevention, and QA documentation. 
    • Carry out work in confined space and working at heights environments , adhering strictly to site safety procedures and permit systems. 
    • Support campaign / shutdown-style scopes , including equipment strip-downs, reinstatement, and general mechanical fitting tasks.
    • Work across onshore and potential offshore scopes as required (offshore allowance applicable). 
    • Maintain high safety standards, ensuring compliance with all site procedures, JHAs, and isolation requirements.
    • Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and multi-discipline teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.

Key requirements:  
  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
  • At least 3 years’ Oil & Gas experience. 
  • Valid driver’s licence. 
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space. 
  • Flange Management training Level 1, 2 and 3.
