Mechanical Fitters to work on Gas turbines, compressors and associated rotating equipment.
* 6+ months duration
* 3/1 roster FIFO from Perth
* 10 hour days.
$60.60/hour (Inc 25% casual loading) + Penalties + $1.93/hour trade allowance + $5.40/hour site allowance + $25 daily PIP (paid at end of project).
Must haves:
- Extensive experience in the alignment and dress out of gas turbines and compressors. This includes axial, centrifugal and reciprocating.
- Prior experience with installation, commissioning and overhaul of critical rotating equipment in oil & gas, power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Experience Using precision alignment tools including laser alignment and must be capable of working to OEM tolerances
- Australian Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent Australian recognised certificate)
- Flange Management (essential)
- Valid Confined Spaces Entry and Working at Heights Certifications
- Valid High Risk Work Licence; EWP (essential)
- White Card
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
