Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with planning and operational teams to support mine planning outcomes.
- Translate mine plans into infrastructure and energisation requirements.
- Model fleet charging and infrastructure demand requirements across mining operations.
- Maintain and update integrated planning datasets and pit registers.
- Support the integration of infrastructure constraints into mine planning activities.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts affecting operational delivery.
- Assess the cost and schedule impacts of planning changes.
- Support change management processes across planning and infrastructure functions.
- Assist with standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Degree qualified in Mining Engineering, Mine Planning or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in open pit mine planning or mining operations.
- Experience with short to medium-term mine planning and mine design.
- Proficient with mining software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Alastri or similar.
- Strong understanding of mine sequencing, fleet deployment and operational planning.
- Exposure to infrastructure or electrical planning concepts will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
- Practical and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Perth-based Monday to Friday role.
