Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with the Project Delivery Team to understand project scope and timelines, and ensuring all required operational readiness documentation is available, including IOMs, equipment registers, datasheets, and P&IDs.
  • Engaging with Asset Owners to define operational readiness requirements, identify gaps, coordinate corrective actions, and provide ongoing progress updates through to handover.
  • Collaborating with Central Support teams—such as Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering, and Reliability—to ensure alignment with corporate standards, procedures, and governance.
  • Completing spares criticality assessments, cataloguing, and stockholding activities in conjunction with Site Maintenance & Engineering and Central Asset Management teams, in line with the approved Maintenance Philosophy.
  • Developing and maintaining SAP master data, including functional locations, equipment records, BOMs, maintenance plans, maintenance items, and task lists, ensuring compliance with legislation, FMECA requirements, and maintenance standards.
  • Leading and facilitating meetings to promote clear communication, alignment, and effective coordination across stakeholders.
  • Tracking progress against schedules and budgets while providing clear and regular status reports.
  • Remuneration: Contract rate circa $95–$105 per hour
Qualifications and experience:
  • Trade qualification preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance planning.
  • Strong capability in SAP master data creation and change.
  • Relevant experience within the mining industry.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance processes and systems.
  • Sound knowledge of operational readiness principles.
  • Familiarity with project delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Clear, structured communication and presentation skills.
  • Practical and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Experience managing budgets and preparing reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
