About the Opportunity
Our client, a prominent leader in the industrial services sector, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Payroll: Manage the full payroll cycle for a diverse workforce, ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • System Management: Utilise ADP and MYOB to maintain employee records, process pay runs, and manage leave entitlements.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist the finance team with the AP function, including invoice entry, statement reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities adhere to Australian tax laws, superannuation requirements, and relevant industry awards.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly payroll reports for the Finance Manager to support decision-making and budget tracking.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline current payroll and AP workflows to increase efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Payroll role (experience in a dual Payroll/AP capacity is highly regarded).
  • Software Proficiency: Experience using ADP and MYOB is highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and a right-first-time mentality.
  • Growth Mindset: Someone who is eager to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow with the company.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with staff across various departments.
