Permit Coordinator – Western Ridge Project
PARC Engineering is seeking experienced Permit Coordinators to support the Western Ridge project on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Permit to Work (PTW) and isolation experience in high‑risk operating environments.

Role Details
  • Roster: 20 days on / 8 days off
  • Rate: $85/hr (casual)
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Numbers Required: 3–4 personnel
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the permit desk , managing permit intake, screening, issuance, suspension, and closure
  • Maintain and update PTW logs, databases, and live permit boards
  • Run daily permit coordination meetings to manage SIMOPS across construction, commissioning, and operations
  • Verify isolations, lockout/tagout , group locks, and return‑to‑service processes
  • Ensure compliance with the Principal’s PTW, isolation, and tagging procedures
  • Administer Hazardous Area Access Certificates and verify IECEx/ATEX compliance
  • Support ignition source control, gas detection requirements, and hydrogen system readiness
  • Act as the central PTW interface between operations, contractors, and commissioning teams
About You
  • Proven experience as a Permit Coordinator in construction, commissioning, or operational sites
  • Strong knowledge of PTW systems, isolations, and SIMOPS
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to documentation, safety, and compliance
