DRD Group are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters with screwed pipe experience for a major copper processing plant expansion project in North-West Queensland.
This is a solid FIFO opportunity on a well-structured roster with a reputable contractor.
The Role
You’ll be working on a large-scale processing plant expansion, including:
- Crushing & screening circuits
- Grinding & classification circuits
- Flotation system upgrades
- Concentrate filtration systems
- General plant infrastructure upgrades
What’s on Offer
- $74/hr flat + $3/hr PIP
- 3:1 FIFO roster (Thursday mobilisation)
- 11-hour paid days
- 6-month project
- Camp with strong facilities (gym, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- North-West Queensland (remote site near Cloncurry region)
- FIFO from Brisbane / Townsville preferred due to charter access
- Alternate travel via Mt Isa + site transfer
- Trade qualified Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
- Screwed / threaded pipe experience (essential)
- Previous experience on construction/plant upgrade projects
- Ability to work FIFO on a 3:1 roster
