About the role Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be the single point of accountability in managing all activities associated with sourcing and supplying materials, equipment and associated contracts for allocated capital projects. Your role will cover the following (but not limited to)
- Ensuring the implementation of contracts, performance management and supplier relationship management.
- Lead Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and negotiations of contracts to meet project schedule, quality and cost goals.
- Resolve commercial issues associated with supplier performance issues, cost recovery for quality problems, rework and ensures resolution of commercial/contractual issues at the lowest level according to the contract.
- Develop, lead and implement strategic and tactical plans to meet project needs and deliver cost savings, working capital improvement and process optimisation.
- You will be the 'gatekeeper' and channel requisitions and requirements to the most appropriate procurement area.
- 8+ years proven experience in a Procurement role, ideally working client side or within the mining industry with an EPCM/Consultant.
- Experience with capital projects and capital expenditure
- Experience negotiating goods and services contracts
- 12 month rolling contract.
- Hybrid role, 2 days WFH
- Must be available to work in Pinjarra 2 days per week
- Hourly rate commensurate with experience
