We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our expanding team and play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality project outcomes across our operations. Reporting to the Project Manager , you will provide critical technical support to both Perth and Site Management Teams, as well as multiple contracting partners, to ensure projects meet stakeholder expectations and comply with all safety, schedule, quality and operational requirements.
This role is ideal for a construction-focused engineer with strong experience in mine site infrastructure , brownfields environments , and multidisciplinary project delivery .

Key Responsibilities As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Technical & Project Delivery
  • Providing technical guidance to ensure safe delivery of project scope, schedule and budget.
  • Supporting multiple contractors and on-site projects concurrently.
  • Managing technical input during project development phases including feasibility studies and design reviews.
  • Ensuring Commissioning Plans are prepared, approved and executed.
  • Liaising with Area Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Project Managers and various internal/external stakeholders.
  • Facilitating Weekly Team Meetings and attending project planning sessions, risk assessments and kick-off meetings.
  • Preparing infrastructure handover documentation for relevant stakeholders post‑commissioning.
  • Participating in Critical Control Monitoring, live infrastructure assessments and team-based risk assessments.
  • Conducting Field Leadership engagements and contributing to incident investigations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Business Management Systems (BMS).
  • Driving safety improvement by developing and implementing at least one safety initiative per quarter .
  • Managing Technical Queries (TQs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and close-out documentation (MDR) across all assigned projects.

About You – Skills & Experience To be successful, you will bring:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural or related discipline).
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi‑discipline team in the resources sector.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects to schedule and quality requirements, with strong SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) competence.
  • Solid understanding of Business Management Systems .
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Exemplary safety leadership and alignment with Company Values .
  • Desirable: Experience with brownfields OPF projects and shutdown planning.
