Join a once‑in‑a‑generation scientific infrastructure project in remote Western Australia. The team is delivering highly specialised facilities, power and communications systems, and large‑scale site services for one of the world’s most advanced research operations. This role supports the project during its critical close‑out and commissioning phase .

The Role  

We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator with a strong background in construction quality assurance/quality control to support onsite teams and ensure all quality documentation, inspections and records are completed to a high standard.

You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and the onsite Quality Manager to maintain compliance across multidisciplinary works (civil, electrical, mechanical, structural).

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update quality records including ITPs, checklists, test results and NCRs
  • Support and participate in site inspections, recording findings and assisting with close‑out of corrective actions. 
  • Raise, track and manage NCRs and ensure subcontractors complete required evidence for closure. 
  • Review subcontractor QA documentation and monitor their quality performance onsite. 
  • Assist with weekly and monthly quality reporting and compliance with internal quality systems. 
  • Support the preparation of commissioning and handover quality packs
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Experience in construction QA/QC on infrastructure, resources, industrial or defence projects. 
  • Solid understanding of ITPs, inspections, NCRs and QA processes. 
  • Background supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to review and track subcontractor QA performance. 
  • Engineering degree preferred ( Electrical , Mechanical or Civil considered). 
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems. 
Preferred:
  • Previous FIFO or remote project experience. 
  • Exposure to audits, reporting and ISO‑aligned processes.
