This role focuses on effective cost control, contract management, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction contracts from project initiation through to final account settlement.
  • Analyse and monitor project budgets to ensure cost‑effective delivery. 
  • Prepare and oversee subcontractor budgets, preliminary estimates, and cost plans.
  • Conduct full contract reviews and manage the procurement of subcontractors. 
  • Submit and negotiate monthly valuations and ensure payments are processed on time. 
  • Handle project variations and maintain accurate commercial documentation. 
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support risk management and ensure cost transparency. 
  • Maintain strong project records, documentation, and progress tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
 
Professional Background & Skills
  • Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. 
  • Strong capability in cost management, contract administration, and budget analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, stakeholder‑management, and communication skills.
