Responsibilities
- Develop detailed layouts for mineral processing, materials handling and infrastructure projects.
- Produce and review 3D models, equipment arrangements and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate interfaces with process, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
- Participate in site inspections and brownfield verification activities.
- Assist with design reviews, constructability assessments and safety-in-design workshops.
- Provide technical guidance to designers and drafters.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and company drafting standards.
- 8+ years' experience in structural / mechanical or piping design within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
- Advanced proficiency with Bentley OpenPlant, MicroStation, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor or similar.
- Strong knowledge of conveyors, pumping systems, crushers, screens and processing plant infrastructure.
- Experience across concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
- Ability to work within EPC/EPCM project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
