Senior Structural, Mechanical & Piping Designers required to join a growing EPC/EPCM engineering team delivering innovative mineral processing and materials handling projects, where your expertise will shape industry-leading designs from concept through to execution.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed layouts for mineral processing, materials handling and infrastructure projects.
  • Produce and review 3D models, equipment arrangements and fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate interfaces with process, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Participate in site inspections and brownfield verification activities.
  • Assist with design reviews, constructability assessments and safety-in-design workshops.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and drafters.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and company drafting standards.
  Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in structural / mechanical or piping design within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
  • Advanced proficiency with Bentley OpenPlant, MicroStation, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyors, pumping systems, crushers, screens and processing plant infrastructure.
  • Experience across concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
  • Ability to work within EPC/EPCM project environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
