Reporting to the Electrical Package Lead (with a dotted line to the Construction Manager), you’ll oversee the delivery of 33 kV distribution lines , support wind turbine construction and commissioning, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements. During site-based construction, you’ll act as the electrical team’s representative, working closely with the site team to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of assigned electrical work packages on site
- Manage contract deliverables and review contractors’ documentation
- Respond to technical queries and resolve issues promptly
- Review wind turbine design and construction documentation for compliance
- Support interface planning between contractor groups
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from construction to commissioning
- Maintain accurate project documentation and monitor costs and schedules
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ electrical engineering/project delivery experience in site-based roles
- Wind energy project experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and mining regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
