About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative infrastructure and decarbonisation projects. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept development through to commissioning, supporting the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify electrical designs, calculations, studies, specifications, and engineering deliverables
- Provide technical expertise across electrical infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning
- Support design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and technical acceptance activities
- Develop and review electrical system architectures and equipment specifications
- Ensure designs comply with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and safety requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Provide practical and reliable engineering solutions across multiple concurrent projects
- Support project delivery through strong technical governance and stakeholder engagement
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years' experience delivering mining, industrial, utilities, or electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong technical knowledge of AC power systems, HV/LV distribution, protection systems, transformers, switchgear, and motors
- Strong understanding of WA electrical legislation, mining regulations, and Australian Standards
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with HV protection systems and protection coordination studies
- Protection relay commissioning experience (SEL, ABB, Siemens, GE Multilin)
- Underground mining electrical engineering experience
- Experience across project delivery from concept through commissioning
