About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Administration Officer to join a growing organisation within the disability services sector. This role is responsible for ensuring strong financial operations across the business, including governance, reporting, compliance, and financial accuracy, while supporting sustainable growth and decision-making.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong financial governance and ensure all transactions are compliant with NDIS and organisational requirements
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities across operations
  • Manage end-to-end invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines
  • Act as escalation point for invoicing issues, discrepancies, and funding concerns
  • Oversee financial alignment of rostering to ensure funding utilisation and minimise risk exposure
  • Perform reconciliations across accounts including petty cash, expenditure, and participant-related finances
  • Maintain financial systems (including Xero) and ensure data integrity
  • Produce financial reports and provide meaningful insights to leadership teams
  • Support audits, process improvements, and financial system enhancements 
Mandatory Requirements
  • Strong experience in finance administration, accounting support, or similar role
  • Proven experience managing invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and governance
  • Experience using accounting systems such as Xero and MS Office suite
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive financial information with confidentiality
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred
  • Experience within NDIS, healthcare, or community services sectors
  • Understanding of NDIS funding and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
