The Role
You will be responsible for delivering mechanical engineering design solutions across materials handling and process plant projects. This includes equipment selection, calculations, technical documentation, vendor management, design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets and engineering deliverables.
- Support and review 3D models, layouts, general arrangements and detailed design drawings.
- Manage equipment packages, technical evaluations and vendor engagements.
- Participate in safety, risk, constructability and design reviews.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer.
- Significant experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial environments.
- Strong background in studies, FEED and detailed design.
- Experience with conveyors, transfer chutes and materials handling systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical engineering capability.
