About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer to support the delivery of a major 25km underground steel pipeline project.

The role will commence with approximately 3 months in Perth supporting tender reviews, engineering assessments, procurement activities, and project preparation, before transitioning to site for approximately 6 months to support construction delivery and contractor management.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a significant infrastructure project from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with tender evaluations, engineering reviews, and project planning activities
  • Support procurement and inspection of materials and equipment
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and engineering stakeholders
  • Support site construction activities and manage contractor performance
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance against project requirements
  • Ensure adherence to relevant engineering standards, regulations, and codes
  • Complete and review red-line markups, test reports, and as-built documentation
  • Identify project risks, issues, and delays and assist with mitigation strategies
  • Participate in HSE activities and promote a strong safety culture on site
  • Provide technical support through construction, commissioning, and handover phases
  • Conduct site inspections and support quality assurance activities
Mandatory Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Pipeline, or related Engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated experience delivering pipeline, infrastructure, or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction standards
  • Experience managing contractors and construction activities on site
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve construction and engineering issues
  • Strong planning, organisational, and project coordination skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
Preferred
  • Previous experience delivering steel pipeline projects
  • Underground pipeline installation experience
  • Experience across tendering, engineering review, construction, and project delivery phases
  • Mining, resources, infrastructure, water, or energy project experience
