About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner / Scheduler to support complex technology development and engineering programs. Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated schedules that support the successful delivery of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

This role is ideal for a planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project controls practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and control integrated project and program schedules
  • Provide expert Primavera P6 planning and scheduling support
  • Create and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Develop schedules from high-level program milestones through to detailed execution plans
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
  • Coordinate schedule inputs from contractors, vendors, and project teams
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, constraints, and competing priorities
  • Support recovery planning and schedule mitigation activities
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, milestones, critical path, and project risks
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning, scheduling, and reporting processes
Mandatory Requirements
  • Significant experience in a Senior Planner, Scheduler, or Project Controls role
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Experience developing and managing integrated schedules across multiple workstreams
  • Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, project controls, and recovery planning principles
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and schedule management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
  • Qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Project Controls, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Experience supporting technology development, R&D, pilot plant, or decarbonisation programs
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, PIMS, or similar project controls systems
  • Experience integrating schedule data across multiple reporting platforms
