About the Role
We are seeking a Senior SCADA & Controls Engineer to support a growing portfolio of renewable energy and power infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and commissioning of SCADA and control systems across substations, solar farms, wind farms, battery energy storage systems, and associated power assets. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop SCADA and control system architectures
  • Configure RTUs, HMIs, SCADA applications, and networks
  • Develop functional design specifications and engineering documentation
  • Support factory acceptance testing and commissioning activities
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues during project delivery
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, technology, and project teams
  • Develop standards and technical guidelines for SCADA systems
  • Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met throughout project execution
Mandatory Requirements
  • 5+ years Electrical Control System experience in the power utility industry required.
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience with RTUs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks
  • Experience with communication protocols including Modbus, DNP3, IEC104, and IEC61850
  • Experience developing Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and secure communications
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience with Siemens A8000, SEL RTAC, SICAM SCC, Ignition, or similar platforms
  • Experience within utilities, power generation, transmission, or renewable energy sectors
  • Knowledge of IEC61131 programming and IEC62443 cybersecurity standards
  • Experience with inverter-based systems and BESS facilities
