About the Role
Working closely with the dredging team, you'll play a key role in maintaining essential site equipment and keeping operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who brings strong pump‑fitting experience and is keen to broaden their skills across dredging and site services.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairing seals, diagnosing faults, and rebuilding slurry pumps.
- Supporting dredging operations and assisting with broader site activities beyond pump maintenance.
- Working effectively as part of a mid‑20s to 30s team environment onsite.
- Optional workshop work during R&R for those wanting to boost earnings.
- Experience with slurry pumps, seals, and rebuild work.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn additional dredging and site tasks.
- Pump Fitting Trade Cert is ideal, Mechanical Fitter with Pump experience is acceptable
- $60-$65 per hour , depending on experience.
- 8:6 roster with 12‑hour shifts .
- Opportunity to broaden your skill set across dredging operations.
- Extra earning potential through optional workshop shifts during R&R.
