Structural Project Manager – Ore Processing Facilities (OPF)
Location: Pilbara
Employment Type: 6 month initial contract

Join a dynamic team driving the integrity and performance of critical infrastructure within Ore Processing Facilities (OPF). We're seeking a skilled Structural Project Manager with a strong background in engineering calculations, structural assessments, and stakeholder collaboration to support capital projects and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural engineering calculations in accordance with Australian Standards and internal procedures.
  • Attend and contribute to stakeholder meetings involving operations, capital projects, and external consultancies .
  • Assess existing structures by developing structural models (e.g., SpaceGass) and conducting vibration and fatigue analysis .
  • Develop and analyze Finite Element (FE) models for steel structures within OPF environments.
  • Review design and calculation reports submitted by external inspectors and engineering consultancies .
  • Prepare sketches and concepts for strengthening and modifying existing assets.
  • Conduct inspections aligned with SIMP and other relevant procedures to define scopes of work for capital projects.
  • Review engineering packages prepared by Structural Scoping Engineers .
  • Collaborate closely with the Compliance & Projects Superintendent , Lead Structural Engineer , and Project Managers to ensure alignment and delivery
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering .
  • Proficiency in structural modeling tools such as SpaceGass and FE analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of Australian structural codes and standards .
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry, or OPF environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
