We’re looking for two experienced Technical Writers with mechanical and/or electrical trade backgrounds to support a major mining operation. This site-based role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong grasp of technical documentation within fixed plant operations.

Roster: 8/6 | 12-hour shifts
Contract: Initial 6-month term with potential extension
Rate: $80–$90/hour + Super (based on experience)
Reporting To: Master Data Lead.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and maintain inspection reports, checklists, operation manuals, and procedures
  • Ensure documents reflect current processes and meet compliance standards
  • Update and manage documentation in PIMS
  • Maintain version control and document lifecycle integrity
  • Attach PRTs and manage records within SAP
  • Work closely with mechanical inspectors, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify technical data
  • Support the Master Data Lead with accurate and timely documentation
Skills & Experience 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical writing, preferably within mining or fixed plant environments
  • Mechanical or electrical trade background highly desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office , SharePoint , and SAP
  • Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site-based setting
