About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to lead our client's manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing production scheduling, quality control, compliance, team leadership, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage production departments to meet output and quality targets.
  • Plan and adjust production schedules in line with sales demand.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, ISO standards, and internal quality systems.
  • Drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Manage procurement, stock control, and supplier relationships.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and uphold high safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and support special projects as required.
  • Report operational insights and contribute to strategic planning.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role (fibreglass or construction preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS, quality systems, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with production planning, budgeting, and inventory control.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and manage change.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • WHS or Quality Systems certification/training.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and ISO compliance.
