Key Duties:
- Structural and mechanical welding on steel bases, supports, handrails and barriers.
- Modify pump bases, stair handrails, switchboards/ cabinet supports
- Weld C‑section and purlin components to steel studs where required.
- Assist with rectification welding, including cage footings.
- Read drawings and markups to carry out welds as directed by site engineers.
- Welding stainless steel to galvanized steel
- Welding 1mm stainless steel
What you’ll need
- Trade‑qualified Welder / Boilermaker
- Strong structural or mechanical welding background
- Ability to interpret drawings
- White Card
- High safety standards
- $65/hr + $150/day LAHA
- 12‑hour days]
- FIFO from Geraldton or Jandakot
- Camp accommodation & meals covered
- Daily breath testing + random D&A
